You can easily start with few and simple elements. We recommend an agile and simple process – both to get started but especially because there is a lot of new learning in the beginning. As you gain more experience with which data is relevant as well as knowledge of how you gain insight into being able to make fact-based decisions, you will automatically gain new ideas and wishes for the subsequent initiatives. The company’s overall strategy and goals for being data-driven will typically be the basis for these and we divide them into different categories and then into sub-tasks as well as individual tasks.
Strategy
- We collect the individual tasks in your Work Book. Points such as:
- What task is this?
- Description of challenges the task helps to solve?
- KPIs we want to measure?
- What results do we expect to achieve?
- Breakdown into subtasks, an assessment of the scope of the subtasks? (does it require, for example, development, programming, new design, etc.), who is responsible for the sub-tasks?
- Drawing in Microsoft Visio of the various steps to make the connections visible.

Execution
We use the above points in your Work Book as a working document under the point for execution.
- Sub-tasks will describe what needs to be set up in your marketing system as well as what needs to be done / used in Dynamics 365 itself.
- After this, simply assemble and activate the various sub-tasks.

Data Analysis
Under strategy in your Work Book, it was described which KPIs you want to measure and the goals for them.
In execution, we have made sure to set up the right data fields for collecting and displaying data. Could be displayed via dashboards in Dynamics 365 itself or in Microsoft Power BI.
Now we start working with insight into your data. It is one thing to have access to the right data – another is to analyze it and translate it into valuable insights on the basis of which you can make fact-based decisions.
We have extensive experience in making data visible in either Dynamics 365 or via Power BI.
Most Danish companies have not yet hired their own data analyst, one who has dedicated time to create insight into your data.
